Join Nelson House for a fun night of dance, music and silent auction - Band Together for Nelson House - to raise funds in support of the women and children fleeing family violence. Cash Bar will be available.
Coinciding with International Women’s Day, popular local talent, The Verdict, a nine piece classic rock n’ roll band will take to the stage on Thursday, March 9, 2017. The group describes itself as a band (mostly) comprised of (mostly) hard working Ottawa lawyers-by-day-musicians-by-night.The event promises to be a wonderful celebration, complete with rock n’ roll music from the 60s to the 80s, delicious eats and drinks, all in the beautiful setting of All Saints Church.
Band Together for Nelson House will help raise essential funds for women and children fleeing abuse and seeking shelter at Nelson Hosue. Our endeavour is to ease their pain and humiliation of family violence and help them find the courage and resources they need to flee their abuser, and start new lives free of fear.
