Feed the City, Feed Your Soul

Come to the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum on Sunday, October 1 — admission is free as of 1 p.m. — and find out how you can make a BIG impact where you live.

It’s time to tackle hunger! 4.7 million Canadians do not have reliable access to adequate amounts of safe, good-quality, nutritious food. Feed the City, Feed Your Soul is a BIG impact initiative to reduce hunger and food insecurity in communities like ours across Canada.

Join the Chefs of Les Toques Blanches, in partnership with Kind Village, the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum, and the Ottawa Food Bank, as they create and share delicious, affordable, and healthy meals. See the challenge and find out how to help when simply using ingredients you could find in a Food Bank.

Check out community meal sharing opportunities and share ideas to increase access to food, as well as unique pitches on how to #FeedTheCityat the “Milk Crate Pitch’er” Competition.

To pitch your own idea about increasing access to healthy, affordable, sustainable food sources, visit http://www.kindvillage.com/pitch !
